UW-Green Bay is known for environmental sustainability and interdisciplinary programs. The Engineering Technology program (link: http://www.uwgb.edu/engineer-tech/) was introduced in 2015, and within two years has become one of the fastest growing programs at UW-Green Bay. The Engineering Technology program combines hands-on learning with academic coursework that is the perfect blend of applied training and scholarly discovery to make a student indispensable in the workforce.
Engineering Technology students can gain research experience through the Department of Natural and Applied Sciences (link: http://www.uwgb.edu/nas/) and the Environmental Management and Business Institute (link:http://www.uwgb.edu/embi/). The program offers three majors to the undergraduate students; Electrical Engineering Technology, Environmental Engineering Technology, and Mechanical Engineering Technology. The Engineering Technology program at UW-Green Bay is housed in the newly formed College of Science and Technology (link: http://www.uwgb.edu/cst/). The College also has a pre-professional Engineering program in collaboration with UW-Milwaukee. This program allows the students to begin their engineering studies at UW-Green Bay, and complete the degree in the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences at UW-Milwaukee.
